Assembling unprocessed logs into self supporting structures

Timber De-Standardized is a project lead by Leslie Lok in the RUBI Lab at Cornell University. The project uses 3D scans of found logs as components within a structure formed with doweled joints between finished log surfaces. Each finished surface is defined by a compound angle and fabricated in mixed reality using the HoloLens.
