All Fologram for Rhino plugins installed after the 2020.1 release (15th Feb 2020) have an auto updater inbuilt. As a result, as long as you have an internet connection Fologram will check you have the most up to date version, and prompt you to install a new version if required.
In the case where you have an old version of Fologram for Rhino without the auto updater, please download the most recent version.
If after this you are still getting an exception when opening Rhino stating that a ‘Plugin Failed to Load’ and this plugin is Fologram, it’s possible that there’s an installation conflict between versions. Please follow the following steps:
- Close any running instances of Rhino
- Open windows explorer
- Copy this into the address bar: %appdata%/McNeel/Rhinoceros/6.0/Plug-ins
- Delete Fologram For Rhino (xx-xxx-xxx-xx)
(If Rhino 5 is also installed, delete Fologram For Rhino from %appdata%\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Plug-ins)
- Install Fologram again
Launch Rhino and Fologram should load correctly. If issues persist, please contact support.
